Salam dan Selamat Bulan Julai. Heheheh. Kita mula bulan baru dengan post baru yer.

Parah betul sebulan 1-2 post. Cessss. Takpa takpa. Kita usaha mengaktifkan kembali ‘creative juice’ agar flow nye macam air sungai lepas hari ujan. Hari nih genap umur Izz 4 bulan 13 hari. Mak dah lama tak citer apa-apa perkembangan Izz. Nanti mak lupa, dan Izz pun takde rujukan mana-mana tentang perkembangan Izz dari umur sehari sampai 4 bulan lebih ni.

Jadi, hari ni mak nak tulis cerita pasal Izz. Mak namakan cerita ni, ‘IZZ 101′. Harap-harap nya nanti bila IZz dah besar dan IZz dah pandai membaca, Izz dapat baca ‘cerita Izz’ dalam blog mak ni. Baru Izz tau betapa sayangnya mak dengan ayah pada Izz, anak pertama mak dan ayah ni. Kita mulakan cerita dengan gambar Izz masa Izz mengamuk. Hehehehehhehe. Don’t worry, masa Izz nangis ke, masa Izz nak poo poo ke, masa Izz tido ker, tak kira masa mana or bila pun, Izz tetap paling ensem, paling kacak, paling comel, paling macho, paling cerdik, paling pandai, paling baik, paling disayangi di mata mak dan ayah.

Izz anak mak yang baik. Izz jarang menangis legat legat. PAling kuat pon Izz merengek rengek ngada-ngada masa nak main, or masa nak susu tapi mak lambat terhegeh-hegeh nak bukak nonen bagi Izz pastu Izz pakat amuk kecik. Hehehehhehe. Tapi semalam kan, bersamaan 1/7/2010 (hehehhehe, kena state tarikh sementara masih ingat ni), Izz menangis paling hebat laa sepanjang umur Izz 4 bulan lebih ni. Kesnya macam ni, semalam aunty Fie ngan auty Dayah ajak Izz main. Izz punya laa teruja dapat main ngan aunty2 Izz tuh, sampai gelak dan senyum lebar-lebar. Izz lompat banyak2 tak hingat penat segala. Pastu mak rasa dah time out, mak ajak Izz tido. Elok je mak baringkan Izz atas katil, Huaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Izz pakat jual suara kuat2. Perghh!! Rupanya Izz takmau tido lagi. Takpa, mak pas Izz balik kat aunty2 Izz tuh. Izz pon sambung arr lompat2 dan joget2 kecik comel sambil goyang-goyang punggung ngan satu badan macam Izz selalu buat bila IZz excited. Pastu mak rasa time out buat kali ke-2. Mak amik Izz n baringkan Izz atas katil lagi. Izz nangis kuat2. Macam laa Izz sorang je yang ada sore kuat kat umah tu. Izz nangis legat2. Macam majuk. Ajak main lagi pon Izz takmau. Mak call ayah nak ngadu. Sian ayah risau. Ada laa dekat 30 minit Izz nangis kuat2. PEnat nenek pujuk. Izz nangis gak lagi. Huhuhuhu. Tak lama lepas tuh, dalam sedu sedan chumel tuh, Izz pon tertido atas dada mak. Sian Izz. Sori yer sayang. BAru mak tau Izz takleh teruja n terover excited, sebab nanti Izz tak reti nak berenti and bila penat sangat Izz akan bantai amuk. NAsib chumel lagi. Heheheheh.

Izz paling suka bila ayah dukung Izz. Izz akan senyum lebar2 sambil muntah susu 2-3 kali. Heheheh. Tak tau napa, setiap kali ayah dukung, memang wajib Izz muntah kat bahu ayah. Mak rasa sebab bahu ayah bau musyuk laa. HEheheheh. Sori ayah, mak gurau. Tapi memang betul, Izz suka sangat bila ayah dukung. NAnti Izz buat muka bahagia. Tu pasal tiap kali ayah balik je, lom sempat ayah rehat, ayah terus dukung Izz. Sebab Izz bila nampak or dengar je sore ayah, terus tendang angin laju2. Mak tau Izz geng ngan ayah. Takpa, ayah takde nonen. Nanti Izz lapau Izz cari mak jugak. Ngehngehngehngeh. Izz, jangan arr muntah banyak kali bila ayah dukung. Ayah tuh pantang kena muntah, mesti tukau baju. Kot Izz buat muntah 5 kali, mau 5 kali ayah tukau baju. Ishh ishh ishh.

Itu hari mak ada belikan Izz kolam kecik. Harga Rm15.95. Mak beli masa mak balik ngular dari kursus kat Toy’r'us Empire. Petang tu jugak mak mandikan Izz kat kolam tu. Izz mula-mula nangis sebab Izz selama ni tak pernah mandi air sejuk. Tapi bila hari-hari mak mandikan Izz kat kolam tuh, Izz dah jadi biasa. And mak rasa Izz pun dah suka. Tengok muka Izz dalam gambar tu. Hehehehhehe. Tapi sayangnya kolam tuh sekarang dah kempis laa. Kucin cakar pastu kolam tuh bocor. Huhuhu. Takpa, nanti kita pindah umah baru mak beli kolam besau lagi yer (ayah, please take note. ayah kena carikan. Ayahkan finance minister sekarang). Apa-apa saja untuk anak kesayangan mak.

Oh, cerita pasal umah. Ni gambau rumah kita. InsyaAllah paling cepat, kalo takde aral dan masalah lain, bulan November nih kita leh pindah umah kita sendiri. Mak ngan ayah usaha sungguh-sungguh nak bagi Izz selesa and ada bilik sendiri. TApi sementara Izz kecik ni, bilik IZz pon kecik je arr. Sebab Mak Ucu nak duduk kat bilik besau yang ada cermin besau tu. Takpa Izz don’t worry. Nanti lama-lama nanti, bila ayah dah jadi millionaire, ayah beli umah besau lagi so Izz ada bilik lagi besau yer sayang. Heheheh. Sayang ayah banyak banyak.

Ayah selalu cakap, “Izz nih ayah tgk comel sangat la”. Memang mak nak gembar gemburkan ni, Izz Yamin laa baby tercomel mak penah jumpa. Heheheheheh. (sila muntah darah semua sebab org nih tgh puji anak sendiri). Mak tak kisah apa orang cakap, bagi mak dan ayah, Izz laa terkacak, tercomel, terensem segala. Dah 2 kali dah org tersilap ingatkan Izz nih gegirl. MAk pun musykil Jadi mak ngan Aunty2 Izz pon pakaikan laa Izz tudung. Sekali, memang iyerlaa, Izz nih cun jugak. Heheheheheheh. Mak gurau jer. MAsa Izz kecik ni je arr mak boleh nak pakaikan izz tudung sebab Izz tak reti apa. Heheheheheh. Cuba bila Izz besau mak pakaikan izz tudung, konpem Izz ngadu kat atok and mak kena marah nanti. Ish ish ish.

Dari umur Izz 2 minggu mak dah meniarapkan Izz. Tuh pasal masa Izz kecik-kecik Izz suka tido meniarap. Bila Izz umur sebulan setengah Izz dah leh angkat kepala sket2 masa meniarap. Elok masuk umur 2 bulan kepala Izz dah kuat. MAk ngan ayah memang dah tau, anak mak nih segalanya cepat perkembangan dia. Buang air besau je lambat sket. HEheheheheh. Harap-harap nya dan mak n ayah selalu je doa, Izz Yamin nih akan membesau jadi budak yang cerdik dan tak menyusahkan sesiapa. Izz kan baik. Mak dan ayah sayang IZz sangat.

Mak bukan nak cakap apa arr, tapi memang betul Izz nih saling tak tumpah macam ayah. Dari rupa sampai laa gaya tido. Izz tido agak stylo yer. Heheheheheh. MAcam ayah Izz laa. Tapi mak rasa mak arr mak yang terbahagia kat dunia nih setiap kali tengok Izz masa tido. Izz comel sangat. Innocent sangat. Suci sangat. Huhuhuhu. MAk dah rindu Izz pulak nih. Takpa, hari ni dah Jumaat. Esok kita ajak ayah jalan-jalan yer sayang. Sejak dari 3 hari lepas, IZz dah start bangun tido sebelum kol 5 pagi. Waaaa!! Jangan laa gitu sayang. MAk ngantuk. Nanti mak bawa keta sambil lelap mata, mana IZz nak dapat nonen?..heheheheh. Pastu itu hari masa tido tetiba mak dengan Izz membebel2. Rupanya Izz ngigau bercakap dalam tido. Apadaaaaaa, dalam tido pon nak chomel gak. Nih yang buat mak geram ni. Ngap ngap ngap telinga Izz.

Ok laa. LAma nau dah mak menaip nih. Bila mak susukan Izz nih, mak kena banyak minum air. Akibatnya, mak kena arr rajin berulang gi toilet. Nih mak nak mintak eskus sebab nak gi toilet. Setengah botol air mineral besau tuh dah mak abiskan. Eskus yer sayang. Nih laa memori Izz sehingga usia 4 bulan 13 hari ni. Jangan lupa tau, mak ngan ayah paling sayang kan IZz.

Hello Friday!! Welcome Good Weekend!!

Office is a little quiet today. Bosses are not around. Fail to get through the FlyFM hotline to play the ‘Wake Up Your Brain’ contest this morning. But nevermind. Will try again next monday. Hopefully next week is another Lucky week for me.

Am thinking of driving all the way to Bentong to meet love of my life. But doesn’t get permission from him.

Missing him terribly. *sigh*

Had a good night sleep yesterday. Wokeup all fresh and happy. Looking forward for a lovely Friday.

Wanted to buy ‘grapes’ at Chowkit.

Now I believe that, Good Karma is like a magnet. If you believe in yourself, you treat everything fairly, you accept whatever that comes to you with an open hand, you smile, you forgive, you love, accept and give in return, you stay positive, you will attract good things in your life.

I woke up smiling – Monday morning.

I went to work with a positive vibes in me – the whole day of Monday

Result = GOOD MONDAY

GOOD MONDAY = GOOD KICK START FOR THE WEEK = BLESSED WEEK = GOOD KARMA

In between though, whatever that is not so good that came my way, I treated it as part of hiccups in my stroll towards a HAPPY WEEKEND. I didn’t take those not-so-good-stuff to my heart. I trust that this is going to be MY WEEK. And guess what, another good surprise came knocking at my door, barely an hour before I posted this entry, a too-good-too-be-true call for dream-job-vacancy technical assessment and interview. Alhamdulillah.

And I have to play my part after this. After all you can’t just stand there and just accept. You should also give in return. InsyaAllah, who knows, this GOOD KARMA will continue coming rolling into my life. We’ll never know what our future hold for us right?

Have you ever been craving for something so much, that you can’t stop drooling over it days after days after days? Just by looking at the pictures alone can make you hungry. Just by looking at the pictures alone can make your imagination run wild, imagining the taste, the texture, and the real looks of it.

Oh! I sure know the feeling alright because I have been drooling over this for weeks. I have to at least drop by their website once a day to satisfy my craving. I’ve been showing this website to all my colleagues and ask their opinion even though I don’t really need them because deep inside I believe that my craving and my taste will never fail me (ceh!!! Konon, alasan nak mengukuhkan fakta sendiri).

And finally today, as seem that my other half can read my mind, he called me at the exact time when I was drooling over IT for the millionth time today. When he asked me what I was doing, I quickly told him that I was looking at something. And when he asked me what that particular thing is, I told him directly, ‘kek paling sedap di dunia’. Huhuhuhu. And he LOL. “Mana Nor tau kek tu sedap? Nor pernah rasa ke?”

Cess!! How dare he ask me that? Didn’t he know already that I can immediately tell the taste of the cake just by looking at it? (Alasan lagi…heheheheheh). Sometimes, you guys out there, you just have to trust us, women taste, because when it comes to food especially cakes and the likes, we, women know best!!!

And with all his LOVES towards me, while still laughing uncontrollably, he said YES! Yes, you may order it darling, but only 1 cake and in SMALL size. Give it a try first then only we’ll decide whether or not to continue ordering from them after this. After all out of 12 birthdays in my family, only 2 have passed. That means there are 10 more birthdays to go. That means 10 more reason to celebrate. And that does not include my anniversary. Heheheheheh *evil laugh, can’t stop grinning happily*.

I have had a VERY GOOD START for my weeks yesterday. Yes! I have a VERY GOOD MONDAY and to have a good kick start for your week is very blissful.

I woke up on time, I wore my head scarf in a new style and people compliment me for that (I took it as compliment though; Daud said I look chubby; Kak Ani said….hmmm…I can’t remember; but overall I am happy with my so-call new appearance). My work when smoothly. I got to eat my ‘Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad’ from Nandos for my lunch (that I craved after). I arrived home early. And I end my day with 2 episodes of Season 6- So You Think You Can Dance.

Oh, I’ve fallen asleep immediately after a phone call to my husband. And guess what? I had a very good night sleep, a sound sleep (which I rarely got nowadays) and I woke up all smiling, a good greeting for my Tuesday.

So this morning, I called one of my friends from primary school day. The intention is another but we end up chatting about my pregnancy and her baby (her experiences and her advise is so refreshing to me, at least to the ignorance mum-to-be me). *Hugs* to her for that. (Iryani, if you are reading this, thanks for a good chat this morning. I will definitely contact you after this for your advice. Muahhhh!!!)

I had my usual nasi lemak, I bough ‘jambu air manis giler tak hengat’ from Pasar Tani at MARA. And guess what, Daud found for me the Metallica CD’s that I’ve been searching for. GREAT!!! A VERY SUPRISING FINDING AND DEFINITELY A GREAT GIFT FOR MY MUM!!!!! Double yeay for that.

Oh, works have been treating me find nowadays, not much project, no Document Contract to attend too, though is not very challenging and not up to my expectation and satisfaction, work wise, but I can’t expect to do too much during this time that I look more like a hypo than a Quantity Surveyor. Bless my workplace for that.

Gosh! I’ve run out of my Calcium supplement today, better make some mental note to buy one or I’ll end up with osteoporosis at 29 years of age. Baby Izz is doing fine I think. The Braxton hicks come and go whenever it wants to. So there is not much I can do. Oh, almost forgot, yesterday, Baby Izz has successfully make my stomach looks square. Yes, not round or oval or tilting to any side, but SQUARE. Hehehehehhe. It did hurt, but it was ok. I’ll deal with it.

So, I guess, enough for today. I WISH for a VERY VERY HAPPY AND GOOD AND PLEASING WEEK THIS WEEK. *all smiling while typing*

Do you believe what you dreamt off? Maybe you will not if it just one night dream. But what if you have been dreaming the same dream over and over again for one whole week and your spouse seems to dream of the same dream too? Is it still a coincidence or is it a sign for you to watch after?

Some one I know very closely have experienced this. For one whole week, she and her husband have had this same dream where there is this one fugly baby, with face so scary beyond your imagination, playing around their house. You see, that lady, at that particular time, was on her first trimester. Both of them didn’t know that they have been dreaming the same dream until the wife told her husband about her nightmare, and the husband confessed of having the same nightmare too.

At first, after one nightmare, they didn’t want to think about it so much and agreed to treat it like any normal nightmare, nothing but a bad dream. But, consecutively, night after night, the same dream never seem to go, they somehow predicted that ‘something’ must have somehow attracted to the wife. You see, like I told in my previous entry, my grandmother warned me before to take good care of my myself and my pregnancy because, during this time, the smell of the pregnant woman and the baby is so ‘nice’ and so ‘sweet’ that ‘ghost’ or/and ‘all these invisible things that only the chosen one can see’ will be attracted to come closer.

Furthermore, they live together in this semi-d house in a new housing area that once used to be the aboriginal land. In-fact, the house next to them is still empty until now and from what they heard, the owner who bought the house from the original first owner, refuse to move in due to bad fengshui (Chinese often believe in this stuff) when they realised that the empty land opposite of their house has one old grave of what believed to be aboriginal cemetery.

So, is this all coincidence? Or does this tell them something is not right somewhere?

You judge it yourself, but from what I know, they soon consulted and seek helped and thank goodness, they never dream of the ‘baby’ anymore.

Notes: Whether you believe it or not, we have to admit to this one simple fact that, we human are not the only occupancy in this world. There are ‘others’ too and we are sharing this world together.

What is this Quantity Surveyor job is all about? Read this loud;

CONSTRUCTION + DRAWING + QUANTITY AND COST MEASURING + SIMPLE ARITHMETIC + CONSTRUCTION SITE = QUANTITY SURVEYOR

 What you need to have in order to be one:

 1)      Technician to Quantity Surveyor

• Sijil Ukur Bahan dari Politeknik.

 2)      Technical Assistant to Quantity Surveyor

• Diploma Ukur Bahan dari Politeknik, UiTM, Kolej TAR, UTM, etc.

 3)      Quantity Surveyor

Actually, the name Quantity Surveyor is applicable once you pass the professional certification examination and qualifies as certified Quantity Surveyor. Without the certification, you will only entitle to be called Contract Executive, Contract Administrator, Estimator but not Quantity Surveyor. But, the market, most of the time will ignore this fact thus you can see a fresh graduate been offered the post Quantity Surveyor. But no worry because whatever name that this job is called, the same basic principle applies as above and your experiences will distinguish you from other newbie.

What you need to understand if you are interested to become one?

1)      If you work with contractor organizations or consultant firms, be prepared to work overtime. This is when you will enjoy a handsome salary (basic + overtime payment).

2)      Be prepared to be posted according to the site of the project you are handling or in another word, if the site is in Sabah, the possibility of you having to move to Sabah is high.

3)      If you been offered to work as Site Quantity Surveyor, and you are not ok or comfortable with the fact of the nature of a construction site (dusty, definitely not clean, 90% male population, heavy machineries everywhere, Indon & Bangla residency, hectic, safety boots, safety helmet and safety vest rules, and many more), better find other job.

4)      Like any other profession, if you graduated with flying colours, the chances for you to venture and works with established organization is very high, namely; PETRONAS, PORT TANJUNG PELEPAS, BINAPURI, RANHILL, MRCB, etc. But if your result is so-so, you can still get the job but either you have to compete with the high-flyers or start will smaller organization first. But I guarantee you, once you acquire your diploma or degree, and if you are not overly-picky, overly-fussy and willing to learn and gain as many experiences as you can at the early stage of your career, there is no such thing as being out-of-work for more than 2 months.

So, this is something for you to ponder upon.

Tetiba, sambil2 wat keje kat opis tuh, pikiran berjalan/menerawang. Ish, payah gak kalo dapat maid muda2 sgt ni. Lagi2 dia mmg bersungguh nak dtg keje sini. NAnti lain pulak jadinya. Petang tuh, depan gerai berger OTAI seksyen 6, dekat ngan 711 seberang stesen Petronas; Shidah (adik no. 2) tgh beli berger, saya ngan mak dtg nak collect berger yang dia beli.

Shidah: Ye laaa. Bahaya laa maid muda2 ni. Kalo dia tak orat pojie pun, nanti dia orat Apit (adik lelaki) ke. Ish! Bahaya arrr. Takmau aku dtg umah mak slalu2 mcm ni. Nanti dia orat laki aku gak. Susah aku.

Mak: Mcm2 laa korang ni. Kita tunggu la dulu. Ntah2 budak tuh elok je.

Anor: Tua sgt susah, nanti jd mcm cik Halimah (previous maid). Baru satu hari keje dah mintak belikan susu Anlene sebab sakit2 tulang. Dpt yang janda lg haru. Tiap minggu nak mintak balik nak jumpa laki. Padahal baru keje seminggu. Mak tanya balik, brapa umur budak maid tuh?

Shidah: A’ah mak. Nanti dia main mata ngan ayah, mak gak jeles.

Mak: Yelaa. Nanti aku tanya kat Cik Suman tuh. Abang dia rupa mcm mana? Kalo abg dia huduh takyah arr risau. Adik dia tak arr lawa mana nanti.

Shidah: Kalo dpt muda n lawa, Shidah takmau dtg umah mak slalu2 arr. Bahaya.

Anor: A’ah, pasni pojie nak masuk toilet pun anor ikut.

1) Maid kalo muda sgt risiko nya takut tak cekap buat keje. Takpun jd culture shock pastu dtg bukan nak jd maid, nak cr laki pulak sbnrnya. Read this loud ok, BAHAYA UTK SUAMI2 ANDA MAHUPUN ADIK2 ATAU ABANG2 ANDA yerr.

2) Maid kalo tua sangat, nanti terbalik. Dari elok kita suruh dia jaga umah dia, umah kita ntah kemana, kita laks kena jaga dia sebab asik sakit2. Ish, payah gak.

3) Maid kalo janda n mengenyam nye jenis, nanti sudahnya pantang ada laki lintas depan umah dia nak orat karang. Baru 2-3 bulan keje dah mintak nak balik sebab nak kawin. Haru haru.

So, sebenarnya untuk dpt sorang maid yang bagus adalah SGT SGT SGT SUSAH. Kalo dah dapat 1 yang bagus, kita jaga laa elok2. Sebab, kalo kita baik ngan orang, InsyaAllah orang akan baik ngan kita. Furthermore, maid tuh akan jd part of the family too. SO kalo takmau kehidupan jd janggal, kita kena include dia as part of our family (but with certain limitation here and there laa). To earn respect, we got to respect other first. Am I right???
