Sesuatu telah memberi kan saya kegembiraan tak terperi smlm. Apa yang saya hajati telah tercapai. Huhuhuhuhu.

SEBAB SAYA SUKA LAAAAAA!!!!! TITIK!!! No point asking and no point explaining.

ADA

Tahukah dirimu, KAWAN?

Dalam serpih-serpih cahaya

Dan gerak-gerik halus benda-benda

Tersimpan rahasia

Huhuhuhu. Sapa-sapa gi Bandung lagi, saya nak kirim!!!

SENYUM

Siapa yang menabur senyum

Dialah yang akan menuai cinta

Skrg saya tgh senyum!! Hehheheh. Adakah anda, anda dan anda merasai cinta saya?….lalallalaallalalalala

My current obsession is none other than that trilogy by Stephenie Meyer

  • Twilight (I’ve watched the movie by the way and I would definitely give 5star for it. They are like among the bestest best movie I ever watched in my life)
  • New Moon
  • Eclipse
  • Breaking Dawn

I envy Stephenie Meyer, the brilliant and very imaginative and talented author of those books. Sometimes I wonder, where does this brilliant author like J.K Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien to name a few, got their idea from. I mean, their over-the-chart imagination is just incredible. If I’ve given the opportunity to meet them, I will definitely ask them, how and where did they got their idea from? What encourage/trigger their imagination? Does family background or their education background influence their writing? Or is it all talents and their being gifted?

Revert back to the movie, Twilight; the director has somehow managed to translate the books into a movie flawlessly with only very small changes here and there. I mean the part where Edward and James (the bad vampire) fight over Bella has been exaggerated a bit. But nevertheless, the movie is so damn exciting to watch. I can’t wait for the sequel. I do hope the original casts are maintain in all the sequel.

Lately, I was so lucky to found, what I can consider as GOOD BOOK (GOOD BOOK according to Annuryani is any one book that when she read, she can’t put it down and she can continue reading it straight just to stop for pee and prayer). To be frank, to actually find one GOOD BOOK is more or less similar to my difficulty in finding a GOOD SHOE. It is not easy I should tell you. Take a lot of efforts, time and money. Fuh!!!!

If you remember my previous post about book title “Laskar Pelangi” which was written by the brilliant Andrea Hirata, Laskar Pelangi is actually the first book in its tetralogy. The second book is Sang Pemimpi and the third book is Edensor. I have all but one which is actually the fourth book of this tetralogy; and the fourth book titled Maryamah Karpov (This book is currently in my wish list. *hint hint*).

To be able to read three out of four books in Andrea Hirata tetralogy, is very meaningful for me. You may think, “It just a book. Why bother about it so much”. Again, according to Annuryani, a GOOD BOOK is any one book that when she read, she will remember it by heart, each and every phrase that is meaningful and have some impact in her life, thought and feeling, in one way or another.

My latest discovery of GOOD BOOK has actually inspired a movie and has a record breaking soundtrack which hit no. 1 even before the preview of that movie. The book is written by a very-creative-and-wonderful-imaginary, Stephenie Meyer. And the book titled…….TWILIGHT. Yes, it is TWILIGHT that trigger my obsession for vampire-like story books, again. The first was LJ Smith.

TWILIGHT for me is the bestest best LOVE+GHOST-LIKE story book in its league. The book is armed with both a WONDERFULLY COMBINED-TALENTED MUSICIAN IN A SOUNDTRACK and OVER THE CHART AND PHENEOMENAL MOVIE. Infact, while writing this post, I am enjoying listening to the song by Blue Foundation titled Eyes on Fire.

Again, like the tetralogy of Laskar Pelangi, Twilight is the first book in its tetralogy. I have bought the 2nd book; New Moon and the 3rd book and 4th book in its tetralogy is already in my wishlist. The third book is titled Eclipse and the fourth book is called Breaking Dawn. Take note my dearest (to whom it may concern), I WOULD REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE TO BE THE PROUD OWNER OF STEPHENIE MEYER 3rd & 4th BOOK OF TWILIGH TETRALOGY. (*hint hint*).

“As I examined them, the youngest, one of the Cullens, looked up and met my gaze, this time with evident curiosity in his expression. As I looked swiftly away, it seemed to me that his galnce held some kind of unmet expectation.”

Guys, I am going to watch TWILIGHT the movie this coming Thursday. I hope the movie will do justice for the books.

 Hello again,

Last week a friend of mine went to Bandung and he bought me (sebenarnya saya yg pesan kat dia) a lot of things among others a story book. The title of the books is ‘Laskar Pelangi’ written by Andrea Hirata. Let me tell you a bit about the author. According to the book, Andrea Hirata was born in Belitong. He is actually an Economic major, graduated from universities in both Paris and UK. He has written a lot of books among others is this book which is regarded as Indonesia’s Most Powerful Book.

I haven’t actually finished reading this book though. But, I want to share a few things written in this book which I found to be, shall I say, enlighten, very wise and very meaningful.

To translate it, the character in this book was arguing on the theory that said human were all from monkey. One of the character, name Lintang, is a genius. His argument was well likened. He said that, to answer the theory about human origin, one must first identify whether they are (i) a religious person, (ii) a Darwinian (I presume it means those who think like Charles Darwin who started the Revolution Doctrines/Theory) or (iii) an opportunist. Your choice should be either a religious or a Darwinian because those who choose to be neutral are an opportunist.

An opportunist is those who keep changing their mind depending on whomever or whatever that will be more beneficial to them. Whatever your choice is is what you are in person. If you are a Darwinian, you will act like there is no such thing as heaven and hell or the Judgment Day because for you, even though the holy AL-Quran clearly stated that all human are of Adam descendent, it is all lie. But if your are a religious, you will straightly denied the revolution theory by Charles Darwin. Therefore, as a Muslim (you will not find the word Muslim in the sentences but that what I think the sentence referred to), unless you prepare yourself for the Judgment Day, you are nothing more and nothing less than a secular opportunist whom will be burnt in hell (what the author tried to say is, even if you are a Muslim and you denied the Darwin’s Revolution Theory, that does not promise you a place in Heaven).

So, what do you think? Aren’t the author is a wise man. At least he is wise with his words and he keeps us thinking. The book makes me laugh, make me think, and make me sad. This book is full of emotion and at least, for now, though I barely read half of the content, I would strongly suggest others to read it as well.

hai everyone…..(mcm ramai je org bc blog ni..heheheh…)

Anyway, today i would like to write about my hobby…apart from buying shoes (which i consider one of my hobby)…i spent most of my salary on buying books.

I read a lot..n i mean A LOT of books every month….i found that walking in any shops selling books (kedai buku nama pendeknya..heehhehe) very intriguing. Apart from shoe shops, book shops is another world best place to be in. heheheh..proclaimed me.

Anyway, one of the latest book i bought titled ‘ Ayat-Ayat Cinta’ (or in english…the words of LOVE…), written by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The author is the graduate from Al-Azhar University and is currently a lecurer in UMS Surakarta, Indonesia and also ustaz kat Pesantren (skola agama/pondok) BASMALA, Indonesia. His book, Ayat-Ayat Cinta has won a lot of books-related award and has been adapted to a movie of the same title.

What fascinate me about the books is the fact that the author wrote the book as dedication to his wife (i think so..)..he wrote, ‘ kutulis novel ini dengan cahaya cinta untuk mahar (mcm mas kawin arrr) menyunting belahan jiwa (if i’m not mistaken, meant soulmate), Muyasaratun Sa’idah binti KH Muslim Djawahir, alm’. I would highly recommend you you and you to read this book for the fact that, ia bukan sekadar buku cerita biasa….u have to read the books to agree with my statement.

Therefore, this are among of the best quotes written in the book…..

‘..love is never without jealousy. Cinta selalu disertai rasa cemburu.

This is a good book……seriously…never judge a book by its cover..*wink*
